Truffle Dust originates from Città di Castello, in the heart of Umbria’s Alta Valle del Tevere — one of Italy’s richest and most historic truffle regions. This area is home to a deeply rooted truffle-hunting culture and is considered the epicenter of Italy’s prized white truffle (Tuber magnatum Pico). With porous, mineral-rich soil and a microclimate shaped by wind and water, this territory has nurtured generations of truffle hunters and their loyal dogs, forming a unique bond between people, forest, and flavor.
TECHNIQUE AND ARTISANAL CRAFTSMANSHIP
Geofoods combines traditional knowledge with modern food safety standards to create this premium seasoning. The powder is made from spelt and 27% freeze-dried black and white truffles (Tuber magnatum Pico & Tuber aestivum Vitt.), then sealed to preserve aroma and integrity. Certified BRC, IFS, and HALAL, the product is part of the TrackIT Blockchain for full traceability of Italian excellence. Packaged in 30g glass jars or 1.5g sachets (sold in sets of five), it is shelf-stable for 12 months and requires no refrigeration.
